It was a group of presenters from across the theological spectrum, and all were very sincere in their beliefs. But their testimonies, from my perspective, shot wide of the mark. The reasons largely centered on cultural and relationship issues and the way they had been nurtured from childhood into the community—a lot of the warm fuzzies of religion.
